Using the estimator

Answering the questions creates an assessment record containing only property facts: acreage, vegetation, tree size, terrain, access, stumps, debris handling, desired finish, intended use and a ZIP code. No name, email, phone number or street address is requested or stored at this stage.

Your browser keeps a private key for that assessment in this device's local storage so you can return to your result and edit your answers. It is never placed in the page address. Clearing your browser storage means the assessment can no longer be opened from this device.

Requesting quotes

If you ask for local quotes, you provide a first name, email address, phone number and your project timing, and you tick a consent box. Those contact details are stored separately from the property answers, together with the time you consented and the exact wording you agreed to. Consent is never pre-ticked and never assumed.

The purpose of that request is to pass your project to land-clearing contractors who may contact you about it. LandClearly does not sell contact details for unrelated marketing.

Where the data lives

Records are stored in a managed database. Records are not publicly readable: they are reachable only through our own server, which requires both the assessment reference and the private key held by your browser.

Removal

You can ask for an assessment or a quote request to be deleted. See the contact page for the channels that are currently in operation.

Pending review before public launch: retention periods, the list of service providers involved, and state-specific privacy rights. No compliance certification is claimed.
